Blackberry and Verizon
I want to get a Blackberry 8100 (Pearl), but it is currently only available through T Mobile. I understand that it will be available through other cell phone service providers. I am currently signed up with Verizon and would like to get one through them. Does anyone know when the Pearl will be released to Verizon?

our contract with RIM does not have anytype of multimedia device in it. the reason being is because the secret service, cia, and other govt groups use our service and cannot have cameras or video recorders on their handsets. so unfortunately until that changes you will never see the pearl on verizons network.

Yea..plz do..since I've noticed many ppl in the Military getting service with Sprint/Cingular and getting some discount or service paid for by the Armed Forces.
Both those carriers have PDA phones that have cameras and the like..AKA Live TV on Sprint.
