Pantech Renue: Dead?
Visiting my mother for Christmas. She's saying her phone is terrible and won't do things she wants it to and asks me to look at it for her.
She has a Pantech Renue, which she was given as a free "upgrade" just last month in an AT&T store. The apps button for it's weird OS leads to a page that says it was discontinued a year before she got it and redirects the user to att.com/myapps. This page redirects to the homepage for general shopping with AT&T.
The device does not update, instead kicking back an error that the server was not found.
Specifically, she wants to be able to record calls (I explained the legal stuff about why this isn't basic on most phones but she is in Texas which I think is more lax about that. because she fo...
