Sprint Launches Window Mobile 5 EV-DO Phone
Sprint today launched the first Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC phone in the US. The PPC-6700, also known as the HTC Apache, features a QVGA touch screen LCD, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Mini SD card slot, and a keyboard that slides out horizontally - change the screen's orientation to landscape. The PPC-6700 has both EV-DO high speed cellular data and Wi-Fi for higher speeds at hotspots. The phone is currently available to business customers for $565 with a one year contract or $480 with a two year commitment.
