Voice activation feature
I noticed you said nothing about the Voice Activation feature on the phone. You can use it to access programs on the phone as well as make calls by holding the right soft key or the volume down key until a tone plays and speak now appears on screen.
I personally don't like it because you need to learn how the voice tags are spoken by the phone and then imitate them. Trying to call my mom's cell phone by saying "mom cell" I recieved either contact not found or a list of items to choose from that twice out of 10 tries came up with her on the list.

Rogers Wireless Nokia 5300 has a different media player
Just an FYI for any of you Canadian folks reading this article and considering the 5300: The Rogers Wireless version has a completely different Media Player.
Some of the key differences are:
-You can NOT minimize the media player and so it is impossible to do anything else while listening to your music (you can still minimize the FM radio).
-Almost all users have issues with the Rogers Media Player not "seeing" their tracks or if it does giving them a "DRM error".
On an unrelated note I stopped using my 5300 largely because of the fact that it has no Email Client. (what phone in 2007 does not have an Email client?)
how can i get AM radio stations?
does this phone only support FM stations? is there a web site i can download a 3rd paty app to use for AM radio staionS? 👀
5300 vs. EnV
Which is better?
SE W600i vs. Nokia 5300
I carry two phones, a Cingular W600i that is still under contract that I use for personal calls, and a Verizon LG VX8600 that I use for work and to get reception where my Cingular won't. I saw the Nokia 5300 on myworldphone.com a while ago, when my first w600i was stolen. But this replacement w600i is getting old, worn out, and starting to bug out. I was impressed with the 5300 when I saw it online, but now that I've seen the phone in person, I'm considering getting it.
The reason that I chose to stay with the w600i was for the outstandingly loud volume of the earpiece, ringer, and speakerphone. Now that I've seen that the 5300 is louder in all aspects, I'm really torn.
So what do you guys that have the phone think of it? Any of you g...

Battery tank?
Is it just me, or does this phone EAT through the battery?
With my old Pebl, I wouldn't have to charge for a least 2 days, and I do a lot of texting.
With this, I have to charge EVERY DAY!

Thinking of purchasing this phone
well, my family is being kicked off our plan by cingular, and my family was thinking about going with T-Mobile. I was looking at phones, and i liked this one the most (really not a big fan of the RAZR and all it's predisesors). Now, I'm just curious if it's worth the money, or if i should get a different phone. the one con listed by all was the rotating pictures. that doesn't bother me. hows the volume, good? and as far as using aim and other messengers, do you need internet access to use them? like if the internet were to be deactivated on the phone itself, could i still use the messengers? i was able to on one of my previous phones. let me know what you guys think of this phone! please and thank you!!!

No Gmail?!
I've tried everyway I can think of to get the gmail mobile app to work on my phone with no luck. Nokia's site says it's not compatbile with any of the newer Nokia phones because it's a third party app and they can't be sure of the software.
Anyone have a fix for this on a 6133 or another newer model Nokia?

"version for the US", har har.
Please, their version of the N95 for the US is more than likely going to be on Cingular. With no high-speed, only EDGE, because the GSM providers are the damn losers in the speed race. I'd ditch my contract and move to Cingular, despite less-than-stellar NYC reception, just for the US version of this phone - but only if they keep the feature set in parity with the overseas one.
Not likely.

New size-comparison photos
We just added some extra photos of the N75 and N95.
For the N75, we have some more shots of the external display camera interface in action, plus some additional side-by-side shots of it next to other phones for size comparison.
We also added a couple of additional N95 size-comparison photos.
