Palm, Inc. today announced that an update to the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system will be available for Treo(TM) 750 smartphone customers around the world. The Treo 750 is available from carriers in the United States, Europe and Asia and remains a key part of Palm's international expansion strategy to make Treo smartphones available to more customers. For AT&T customers, the update also will facilitate High-speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) capability - allowing faster data-download speeds on 3G/UMTS/HSDPA networks.
I'd love to hear from anyone who does this once the upgrade is available, particularly, if they've noticed a chang...

Treo 750 vs. 8525???
For those of you out there, what do you guys think? Are buttons on the 750 accidently hit while being in your case or in general? That's one main problem i'm seeing with my 700wx, while it's in my case it'll make calls on its own. So when i pull it out to text or make a call myself, i'll see that it's been active for like 10 m...

My UMTS signal strength in my home office is about 1 bar, but when the phone switches to GSM it's almost full strength. My 750, if left alone and untouched on the desk, will default to UMTS and will stay there if I don't walk around the house on a call. When a call is in progress, if the call started within UMTS and switches to GSM during the call, all sorts of issues arise. I don't drop c...
