Alright, maybe i'm gonna get on my soap box a little bit here, but am i the only one who's sick and tired of moto getting a good idea and a great concept and completely running it into the ground? They did it with the startac, the v60, and now the razr and all its iterations. I'm not a huge samsung fan, but why would you pay so much more for this "new" razr when the a707 is so much better and CHEAPER too! Moto has a habit of just rebranding the same turd that they came out with over two years ago and charging an arm and a leg for it, i guess the worst part of it is that people will actually buy it for top dollar. I don't know about you guys, but as the cost goes down on the v3, quality takes a dive too. I've seen more problems with the...

whats funny is that we have always said the v3 was a peice of crap and it is, we replace anywhere from 2000-4000 a day. the stock runs out very fast.
...
In short, what are the overwhelming failures you see with RAZR returns? I do not have much experience with one.
Side note, my old Moto V505 fell apart within a year... buttons stopped working, OS reboots (ghost in the phone).
Thx. Orl-FL Cingular

razr issues....where do i start....keypad stops working, white screen of doom, earpiece/mic stop working, screen stops working(internal and/or external), those are just some common ones, i will say tho that the black razrs are more problematic than other colors, and no, i have no idea why. I actually had a customer who went through 2 black razrs with reception issues and then switched to a silver one, and had no reception problems. weird.

50-60% of my daily calls are about razors!! What will be so different about this?

The problem is that people are sheep! There are still people that think the RAZR is desirable, so it still sells. Moto thinks if it ain't broke, don't fix it. To them, "fix" = "improve/innovate".

See subject...
The only customers buying the v3's now are the older generations (the majority of our population).
...
the biggest problem with the phone is that people buy it. 😡
...
Look if you don't like it fine, then don't buy one. Now that you guys feel so superior, we can move on to the next thread.

Everyone is buying a RAZR. The most obvious reason being the beauty. However it is very important to note that RAZRs are ubiquitous; people have faith in what they know, if everyone has one they assume they're good--much to their chagrin, of course.

people buy razrs cause their dumb.

I think the RAZR is gorgeous. Do u remember the
StarTac? Both were instant classics right off
the drawing board. Are there better phones?
Sure, but so what. Monoxide041, I see you don't
actually critique the phone just badmouth the
users. You are the one that is dumb. 🤣
...
Oh boy. Uhhh, it's spelled "they're", not "their". If you want to be taken seriously when you call people dumb, you should at least be educated enough to know the difference! Whoa, I love this. Like the picture of the guy holding the sign saying "you're all morans". Priceless.
Well, back to phone talk everbody, nothing to see here...

Enough griping already! This is JUST A PHONE folks! I have had a RAZR and now a RAZR V3i and they have both been GREAT! Yes, older UI, a bit slow, but they have served me well and do what I want them to do. What is it everyone wants for these devices? I thnk even the makers don't know becaue they keep adding belss and whistles, bogging them down, and most people I know say " Who needs all that?" The average person just does not care! I had Symbian phones, Pocel PC phones, etc. etc. TOO MUCH UN-NECESSARY STUFF for most people. My V3i plays iTunes music well, takes averagely decent photos for everyday uses, reminds me of important events, and gets me onto Opera Mini fairly quickly considering it is not EDGe capabale. And that's fine! Mot peopl...
