Is there a way to expand the # of Contacts in a GROUP?

this is the first LG phone i've bought, and i am satisfied overall. Great looks, brains and athleticism.

however, i can only add a maximum of 10 phone numbers in a Group (under Contacts). that means that you can have only 10 Contact numbers under, say, "Friends". For a phone that can potentially hold 1000 Contact names, this is ridiculous.

i've talked to Verizon second tier tech support, and I've been told that all LG phones are set up to hold up to 10 Contacts in one Group.

is there a way to expand the maximum numbers in a Group? i use this alot. HELP!

Never able to expand before. That's why I never bothered to set up groups.

I would also love to be able to expand the number. But what I would like even more is to be able to set a customized ring tone to a group. When I go to bed, I don't want to be woken up by just anybody. I want to set the ring to silence, UNLESS, it's somebody from a certain group that I set up. Put these two things together, larger groups and customized rings, and it would be the perfect phone.

I don't think the groups lists were designed for voice call list or true group related lists. I think they were designed to make it easy to TEXT a group of people at the same time. Due to the 10 locatations max allowed per text message the groups are limited to just 10 numbers/emails. I too would like to see a way to set family/friends/co-works and *&$holes into different groups for call ringers, but as of now its entry per entry.
