ear piece sound

Just got the vx8700 much faster than the moto krazr. Question, is it normal not to hear yourself when talking(all other phones do). The people on the other end hear and sound fine. I just can't hear myself talk. You know if you blow into the mic you hear it through the ear piece. On mine does not do this. Thanks

That is known as sidetone and landlines have it by design and so do most Motorola phones. LG phones do not (generally speaking) so the behavior of your phone is normal.

Actually in really noisy situations, the LG lack of sidetone allows you to hear the caller better in your own ear.
