Email capability?

So I'm finally almost able to get rid of this hunk of garbage PPC-6700. Don't get me wrong, it was nice at first, but the battery doesn't last more than 4 hours anymore (with BT and WiFi OFF), freezes multiple times per day, etc etc.

It's time to move on. My only real requirements are speakerphone, bluetooth and email. The PTT is a huge bonus and the camera is nice too.

Long story short, does the ic902 have *any* type of email support other than over a web browser? Sprint's spec page says it does, but it isn't very specific. All I need to do is to hit a single IMAP server and I'm good.

Soooo.. IMAP or POP3 support on this handset?

Thanks!

Sprint Mobile Email is a free application available for download. As long as you have a data pack ($10/month is okay), you'll be able to access gmail, yahoo, msn, hotmail, aol, POP3 or IMAP email addresses.

It even supports "push" type technology by sending a text message when you have a new email available. I use it, and it's a pretty cool app, works quite well. 🙂
