is there and app that enables 3-way/conference calling? or am is there a way to do it from the phone?

There is a way to do it on the phone. It's in the manual. If I remember it correctly, after you place or receive a call, press the talk button again to dial another call and to place the first call on hold. Then dial the second number and after being connected with the second call just press the talk button again and three way calling will be activated.
