Just curious if anyone has compared this to the i760? I'm looking for something more then just numbers...was either 1 easier to use? would you recommend 1 over the other? faster OS? better internet access? easier to use touchscreen...etc.

thanks again....btw hows battery life?

I tried both- the i760 seemed to be a better phone with the exception of all the easily pressed keys on the side- I kept hanging up on people & changing programs randomly because of the stupid keys that are all over where you would normally hold the phone, and aren't recessed.

Another exception...Don't forget the stupid proprietary connector on the 760 instead of the standard mini-usb. What were they thinking??

I returned my Sammy i760 after two weeks. Multiple lockups, VERY slow when multiple apps were running, constantly dropped from EVDO to 1X when web surfing, kept hanging up on calls (my thumb sat right on that dang button!).

It had VERY good Bluetooth performance, and so far, so does my XV6800.

One thing I never even thought about until I got this phone is the way the slider opens. I am right-handed and it mu...

As I've mentioned in other forum posts, the i760 has the WORST button placement (design) ever. If you are right handed (87% of the population) while holding the phone the END button rests against the inside of your thumb knuckle; apply a little too much pressure and you'll disconnect the call. Another person mentioned this as well in reply to your forum post. **This in itself is enough to completely fail the phone. Not only do you end calls accidentally, but you also may inadvertently send calls to voice mail by pressing the END button simply when handling the phone to take a call.

The button layo...

One incorrect fact: The 6800 does not see 8GB. A verizon sales rep sold me an 8GB card.

The phone only sees 3.6GB.
