Did Verizon fix the following problems?

My old XV6700 had a number of problems that constantly annoyed me.

1. First and foremost was the fact that if you re-booted your phone it would not recognize a charger. It'd take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour before it recognized that it was connected to a charger.

The annoying thing was I often had to reboot to clear out memory to run GPS software. Than the screen would get turned off to save power because it thought it was running on battery instead of realizing it was on a charger. This would often cause the Bluetooth GPS to lose connection.

Very annoying, and dangerous in driving situations. I eventually disabled the power-saving. But it was a poor work-a-round


2. Play ring tones off of memory cards. Store IE browse...
