Stop Outlook notifications??
I have an XV6800 on VZW and I use Outlook Mobile to get mail via my Exchange Server.
I already have the "Messaging" item on the Today screen to show me if any new messages have come in, and I am unable to stop the on-screen notifications popup in the lower-left corner every time a new email comes in.
I have all the notification boxes UNchecked in Start > Settings > Sound & Notifications > Notifications for email, and only the sound checked for text messages.
I still get on-screen notifications for all email and text messages.
I have SPB PocketPlus installed as well as SPB Time, but neither of those have nay options for text or email notifications.
Any idea how to kill these things?
Thank you!
Gregg
From my original post: "I have all the notification boxes UNchecked in Start > Settings > Sound & Notifications > Notifications for email, and only the sound checked for text messages."
Since then, I unchecked the sound for text, so all notifications are off, yet they still pop the Notication in the lower left corner.
Somebody has to know why UNchecking all the boxes under "Start > Settings > Sound & Notifications > Notifications > Messaging: New e-mail message" still results in notifications.
Please?
