HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000

I have and XV6700 and I have had some issues with the Mini SD card falling out.

The fact that the Micro SD slot on the 6800 is on the bottom concerns me. Has anyone had any issues with the card falling out?

After 1 year with the Samsung A900M, yesterday I bought the Motorola Q because I need to have a PDA. However, today, my office mate shows me his new phone: the 8525 (he is with AT&T). The 8525 seems to be a finne phone--way better than the Q (except the Q is much thinner). Sprint does not support the 8525, but it supports the Mogul.

Please help me decide if I should return the Q and get the Mogul. Also, how similar is the Mogul to the 8525?

Money is no object--I am looking for the best possible phone overall (sorry, no time to get into the detail).

I can't get my mogul to stay on the right time. I switch it to the right time manually and it won't stay there for more than a few hours. the worst part is that I can't get my outlook to sync up properly. every time I switch the time, my phone keeps my schedule straight but when I sync it my computer schedule gets off by an hour. It is so annoying. Is there a way to turn on daylight savings time? I can't find it anywhere on the phone and if I set it on my time zone it displays standard time, not daylight savings time. Is there something that I'm missing or what?

Is thier a notice able increase in the different speakers on the 6800 v. 6700?

Since the reviews are mixed on the Mogul (6800) up to this point I think we should all get on the same page so we are reviewing a device performing on the same level.

I am sure most of us are using the following, but lets provide some direct links to downloads for the programs, hacks, registry optimization we consider essential.

I realize this is a tad biased in that I'm an IBM'er, using the Sprint Mogul and the Phone as Modem plan. I can connect to the internet (though I don't need the Sprint Connection Manager software), but when I launch our IBM Connect - BLD app to connect to our intranet, during the protocol of logging in, the laptop gives the blue screen of a driver dump, and the laptop reboots. Of course the screen info goes away too quickly to quite understand what it is saying (not that I'd understand it anyways).

Any IBM'ers out there using Mogul to connect to our intranet and provide advise or maybe other users had the same problem for their companies' intranet?

Hey I also found a way to view someones Myspace page. The way i do it at least without any kinda download is i view the page, after the page is fully loaded up I click:

>>>Menu
>>>View
>>>Click Desktop

----It looks better if you click and hold down, and click Full Screen.

Thats how i get to view my friends pages! I dont know how that works, but it does he he thats all that matters to me 😁

Hey does anyone know how to view Myspace backgrounds on the Mogul? I've done it before i know i have....any help is greatly appreciated! 😁

Hey does ANYONE know the home link to the home page where you open the browser? you know...everytime you open up the Internet Explorer browser it says you can check for updates on the Mogul etc...what is that link?! I've searched the manual and can't find it...I set Google as my home page and would really like for it set back to what was originally on it...any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks..!

I currently have a MotoQ. I like what i have read about the Mogul, but experience is another thing. Any one here post MotoQ. How easy was the switch and in comparison. Does is gain in size worth it as far as the features of the phone go? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

This phone is now available on Sprints website, $549.99 outright or $399.99 with a 2 year agreement or upgrade.

Greetings. Just ran through lots and lots of pages in the ppcgeeks forums. Those of you who don't have a problem editing your registry, installing non-certified (but definitely working) applications need to go over there and register. Get to the Titan forum, and they have really pounded on this phone with many many useful apps and wikis. I don't work for em, just figured someone like me could have used what I am typing at this very moment. Working MMS minus receiving videos, google maps, skins, etc.

is there and app that enables 3-way/conference calling? or am is there a way to do it from the phone?

I just picked up my Mogul at the Sprint store and one of the salesmen heard that if you pull the battery, you loose all your contacts.

Is there any fact to this or is it a rumor?

do you have to have a data plan "power vision" to access the Internet via the WiFi?!!

hey guys I was just wondering if anyone is experiencing a sudden mute glitch on the mogul, my phone will lose all sound when accessing windows media player or even for incoming calls, when I soft reset it will work fine but its happening more more frequently...help someone please or is my phone just defective?

Is it my phone or not but does the qwerty keyboard on your phone light up or not when you slide it open. I saw an option for light auto sensor for the keyboard but my keyboard light does not light up. Does anybody else keyboard not light up or this is how it is with this phone.

i really want this phone, but i have an upgrade opportunity with verizon so im waiting to see if i can find a date on when it comes out for verizon. But i cant wait!!!!!!!!, so should i switch over to sprint and get it now or wait till it comes to verizon?
