Voice Dialling

I was fooling around with 6800- it seemed like the voice dialling needs to 'trained'; unlike the Moto Q, which is speaker independent.

does it require training??

XV6800 Can it use MicroSDHC

Just got this phone from Verizon. I know 4 Gig is max capacity but no one can tell me if it can use the new HC type memory. No mention of this anywhere in manual or web sites.

XV6800 locking up

Hello!

I have an XV6800 with Spb Time and Spb Pocket Plus 4.0.2 added to it. I am not sure if either is causing a problem, but I have had the phone lock up several times requiring battery removal to get it to respond.

Does anyone else have problems with the phone locking up and who is NOT using third-party applications?

On a side note, is there any registry hack to make the alarms work when the phone is on the charger? Spb Time does it, but it is nuts that the phone won't do it out of the box.

Text Messaging - Palm Style

I thought I read it on here once but I cant find it now.

VZW XV6800 Feedback and Q&A

This thread is for the VZW XV6800 only!

I got the 8GB microSD card, but only see 4GB. It's likely a 32-bit issue, but will look into this further.

The "Get Applications" send you to a page that can't be displayed (http://mobile.handango.com/vzw-utst). Going to http://mobile.handango.com (redirected to http://mhgo.com/InHand.jsp?siteId=36😎 and downloading the Handango software failed to install the first time because of "invalid" digital signature. I repeated the same steps and this time got a prompt to install the software from an unrecognized publisher. The initial Handango interface looks nice; I'll post more on the usefulness of the software later. At least the speed of the download over EVDO was good. I assume it to be Rev.0?...

Does anyone know if the XV6800 can connect via Bluetooth to a BT car kit and use BT GPS simultaneously?

Did Verizon fix the following problems?

My old XV6700 had a number of problems that constantly annoyed me.

1. First and foremost was the fact that if you re-booted your phone it would not recognize a charger. It'd take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour before it recognized that it was connected to a charger.

The annoying thing was I often had to reboot to clear out memory to run GPS software. Than the screen would get turned off to save power because it thought it was running on battery instead of realizing it was on a charger. This would often cause the Bluetooth GPS to lose connection.

Very annoying, and dangerous in driving situations. I eventually disabled the power-saving. But it was a poor work-a-round

2. Play ring tones off of memory cards. Store IE browse...

Any word on the availability of the XV6800 in Verizon retail stores?

Unfortunately Verizon won't commit to an in-store release date.

If you've heard anything about when it should be available in Verizon stores, please let me know!

Thanks.

Sprint TV?

I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, but I'm curious if the Mogul can do Sprint TV? I know it can access the Sprint Music Store, so just curious about Sprint TV compatability. Thanks.
