Beware of the 21st
Today (Monday 11/19/07), I went into my local Verizon store (Ft Lauderdale, FL) to inquire if I could upgrade to the Voyager early, being only 16 days shy of my 1-Year anniversary date of my last purchase of my current phone (ENV).
I was told flat out "No" and I would have to wait until December 8 (my 1-year anniversary date) to receive the promotional price. I said given the fact that I could purchase the Voyager at full retail on the official release date and then return it on my anniversary date and then re-purchase it at the promotional price would they just let me purchase at the promotional price on the release date. Thats when the VZ rep me informed there would only be 5 Voyagers in the store for purchase and and they were all spok...

Especially markets with Vcast TV should expect more usage. I believe this is the largest and best screen of any Vcast TV phone yet. i mean 400x240? Thats really impressive. Just to compare its roughly the same amount of pixels per square inch as a full 1080p on 52 inch tv.

there is no possible way they can hold the voyager in a store there is no way they can pre-order the phone in the store for customers yes on-line but no in stores they can't do that technically Verizon Wireless are not supposed to release any information about phones that they don't have on the shelfs yet trust me i know used to work in a verizon wireless store as a technician it was a big thing when the Chocolate first came out customers would ask about it but the answer that they should of got was don't know what you are talking about, we are never givin this info until it is released in the store even if it is on pre-sale on line. as goes for the only 5 the rep is lying they will get more this phone is high in demand especially being bl...

The South and midwest areas of Verizon only have a initial amount of around 5000 Voyagers. The most a main store has gotten in is around 10 and Circuit city stores 3 to 4 for the crazy after thanksgiving sales. I think I saw on this forun where someone said that their NY Store had 40 so maybe the NE region got more.
