Got my Voyager Sunday
Hey everyone, I am a long time lurker on the site and a first time poster. I thank everyone that has been posting to the site about the Voyager.
I wanted to share my experience with getting the phone activated on my account. First of all I called Verizon several times to check with them and see if I would need to change plans and each time I was told that I did not have to change plans I only had to add on the V-Cast. One of them went as far as saying that they can not force you to change plans. I had a plan that was 2 years old.
Anyway when I picked up my phone at the store on Sunday evening I was forced to change to a new plan which was one of the Nation Wide Plans and only needed to add on the $15 / Month V-Cast to get full functi...

lol no, it just makes things MUCH faster. MuCH MUCH faster. it doesnt have all the flare of a regualr page but not all the background colors etc etc that take up time to load

Ah so very interesting. Yeah, I went to verizon again and played around w/ the Browswer some more. yeah by going to the mobile verision of youtube you can view some videos but not all of them. It's pretty cool. I'll ahev to try the optimized web browser more often. Also are you able to open uip attachments in emails. Such as if i get a reply to my PHonescoop thread can i open it up from the Voyager. Technically, I should be able to.

well im sure since i can login into facebook and myspace u can login into phoneschoop. everything comes up as normal so i dont see why there would be a problem

Yeah neither do i. Thanks for the info Jess! Much appreciated. Dam i can't wait to buy the phone. I can do an early exception upgrade March 30. By that time, I might be on my own plan...so who knows what'll happen.

haha and in my opinion, it's not such a long time considering we're almost in December. I've only got January February and march. By that time maybe the price will also drop a little bit who knows. lol. So, you like your Voyager eh? That's cool. I was literally showing people how to use it last night at the Freehold location of Verizon .hehehehe They're like you should work here i said I start training for tech support In January. lol. Do you find that you use the web browswer a lot even though you probABLY have a computer in your place as well.
