I did the same, I had a $50 credit, and new after 2. So I walked away with it for $200 plus there is a $50 rebate. Not too shabby.
Great phone. Size is much better than I expected, not too heavy either. I agree that the touch action, especially scrolling, takes a little getting used to, but should be nice after a little practice. Inner keyboard is VERY nice, much nicer than the U740 I had.

INNER KEY BOARD IS GREAT. The space bar i am a lil wary of bc they are on the sides. But once again im sure itll be a learning curve.
Rt now im trying to change up the standard features on the phone too. I changed the backlight immediately.
Does anyone know how not to let it lock so quickly on the front?

i got mine store opened at 9 and there was a line of about 10 people by 915 all of their 25 phones where gone

Trust me if u saw my brick of a phone before u would jump for joy 2. I used to have my phone and a sidekick and i got so sick of tmobile i sold it. So now my purse is g2b much lighter lol.

I was flat out denied a phone. I was second in line at my store, but the manager said that I would have to "wait until Monday when the phone is released to customers willing to pay full retail." What a bunch of crap! It's like he made that policy up on a whim. What a way to repay loyal customers... they're giving me more reasons to not extend a contract with them!

u should complain. the man that was rt behind me in line def bought his retail bc he had the samsung mobil tv phone and was showing me how mobile tv works and thats a new phone that came out aka he def didnt have that for 2 yrs lol. he also paid full price cash for it. so THATS A LOAD OF CRAP rt there

I ended up going to another store, which the employees there agreed with us... that guy at the other store was pretty sketch. I do intend on reporting him, it was totally uncalled for and added a lot of hassle to my morning. The good news is that I did end up getting a phone and it works great!

I got the same thing today, after being greeted by a sales rep. who I told why I was there, put my name in the sales que, then waited 20 mins., was told by the sales rep. helping me that it would be full retail and that he would be right back with the phone. He then came back empty handed and told me that they were only for new lines or upgrades, sorry. The manager informed me that they only got 40 and only had twelve left and weren't getting anymore until the first of the year!!!!
