Stereo In the Headset Not Working

I just bought a Voyager and LOVE it!!

However, when I plug my headphones into the headset output I only get the right channel. Can someone tell me if they're having the same issue?

I bought this phone as a replacement for my i-pod. I have a 200 dollar set of Bose headphones that, if I cannot use with this phone, will make keeping it a real deal-breaker. Help?

If the headphones fit an ipod, then you must be using an adapter with the voyager because the ipod jack is 3.5mm and voyager jack is 2.5mm. The adapter is the most likely source of your problem. Or, the phone is broken. I can confirm my sony earbuds I use with my ipod work on the phone using an adapter.

Thank you so much for this confirmation!

You are correct, I am using what SHOULD be the right adapter from Radio Shack, however the package was already opened when I bought it so I cannot be sure.

I eliminated the headphones as the source of the problem by using a different set of earbuds and they produced the same channel problem. My only other guess was that LG designed the headset jack solely for the handsfree and were pushing me to buy a set of bluetooth headphones which I will NOT do. Love my Bose.

Thanks for confirming that it is now either the adapter or the phone itself. Grazi!

verizon carries adapters that look to me better quality than RS. If you use a verizon adapter and still have the problem, you can put it all back in their lap.

Sounds like you got a mono adapter. How many black rings do you see on the adapter?

if you get the jabra 3030 (dog tag set) it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and you could use your bose head phones with that, plus you have the benefit of being wireless between your remote for your music and being able to answer your phone with it as well.. phonescoop search for "Jabra 3030" and it'll come up
