Palm Centro 690 (CDMA)

My wall charger works fine, always has. My car chargers works fine and it too always has. Every once in a while my charger cable for my computer will not work. This is unfortunate because i use my phone constantly. My car is at my house with my car charger in it and my wall charger is at my house. I am in another city and am relying on my cable for my computer to charge my phone. I have tried restarting my computer (that worked last time) and i tried my friend's computer and it wont work either... Any advice short of buying a new cable?

I love my phone and wouldn't trade it for the world. I just need this problem fixed.
