PC connectivity
I would like to connect the phone to my PC and backup the address book and calendar. The only way I know of is to pay Verizon a monthly fee which I am opposed to. If you know of a way to sync or connect to a PC, please let me know. I have checked with Motorola and they do not have software/cable to do it. Hope you can help. I have checked with DataPilot and they have not developed support for the Z6c yet.

If you register on Verizon's website, you can download and use Verizon's backup assistant for free, enabling you to store your contacts on Verizon's computer. It works very well.

Thanks for your reply. I have looked into your recommendation and understand how to use it. There does seem to be costs with maintaining the address book. Verizon applies air time or data charges and text message rates.
My goal is to have control over my data (contacts, calendar, pics, etc) independent of Verizon.

If you make the changes on your phone, there is no cost involved. Once a day, the Verizon server will check and will upload the changes you've made on your phone contact list to the Verizon server. If, instead, you make the changes on the Verizon server and then wish to download them to your phone, this will be treated as a text message sent to your phone.

Thanks! You obviously know a great deal about the service. You are kind to share your knowledge.

Motorola offers a Phone Tools for about $50 which, I have read elsewhere, allows one to sync their phone and Outlook with either cable or Bluuetooth
