LG Dare VX-9700

Has anyone experience it?

While listening to music through stereo bluetooth headset, the music would be silent for a split second 1 second into playing a song. This happens to me with ALL songs that I put on the phone.

So, a song starts to play at 0:01 the song stops for a split second then it continues. When the next song starts, it happens again.

Anyone experience that?

I haven't tested with different bluetooth stereo headsets or the built-in speakers.

I was at the store today playing with the Dare and I was happy to see that someone had already saved youtube as an Internet site on the phone. So, I went to Youtube and wanted to search in the YouTube search box. However, I could not see where on the phone I can get to text to enter into the YouTube search box. How do I get the to the text feature of the phone while I am in the Internet Browser?

Does anybody else experience the issue of songs can ONLY be played in ALPHABETICAL order of their titles?

I can't find a setting or option to order them by track numbers.

I found a thread in phonearena that confirms the problem.

Any fix that anyone know of?

Is anyone having issues with the camera on the dare. I am not getting great pictures and all of my settings are correct. I spoke to lg they said to return it to verizon

Most site I go to use Flash. Is there a way to install it on the DARE? I cant seem to find a way.

Does anyone know how to get to the drawing feature of the dare? and does anyone know if there are more options than the ones you can choose from the menu. it seems like its missing some things that they say it has, i cant for the life of me find that drawing feature. please help!!

I just noticed that the charger cable that comes with the dare is a usb cable. Can I use this cable with bitpim by just plugging it into a usb port or do I need another type of cable?

I know some of you may laugh at me, but anyone on the fence between this phone and env2? For the price difference and using the phone for texting, I'm trying to justify the dare. I've had it for a week and the html browser is OK, but nothing spectacular, mostly due to flash. I end up using the verizon sites more. If I go to dispatch.com, the phone reboots. Camera is great, but have a great camera. Have to be paranoid of the screen in your pocket.

Just looking for other input on this. Friends I know that have the ENV2 just love it, and it costs 50$.

I have recently been in a couple of very noisy venues with my DARE, placed in a leather pouch on my waist. There was never a time when I was aware that I was receiving a call, even though the vibrate was set on high. Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated.

hi all. I have been trying for a while to get music files to transfer to my DARE, but I cannot get it to work. It says that it supports file transfer, so I must assume it is something I am doing wrong. If anyone has done this, please let me know what I am missing.

I currently use the Plantronics Voyager 510, and always thought it was excellent. It worked well on my 8300 and enV, but not so much on my Dare... people can hear me, but they say I sound like I'm fading in and out. After I heard this from the 3rd person, I knew it wasn't on their end.

I love my Dare and it works fantastic without bluetooth - I hear people, and they hear me fine. And I know my bluetooth works fine (with other phones). Unless there are other variables I'm not considering, the fault must lie with the Dare's bluetooth technology (or something like that). I'm within my 30 days and can easily exchange my phone for another brand new Dare, but like I said - everything about it works perfectly except this one thing.

Just got this phone and all seems to work great..I have loaded a bunch of mp3 files...but i can't seem to save or load videos..
if I have a video on my computer..how can i transfer it to the sd card so it shows up in my videos?...

I wanted to state that I am an avid Apple Mac Computer user and have been for over 15 years. I was anticipating my purchase of the iphone3G this month. I have since decided to stay with my dependable service provider: Verizon Wireless and purchased the newly released LG Dare phone for simple reasons: similarities with browser and easy navigation, my family & friends are still with Verizon, and the mobile-to-mobile calls / inbound TXT messages.

I do wish that 4 things were readily available on the handset, and have some suggestions to better the device with simple software updates...hopefully in the near future.

Is Verizon charging for IMs through Yahoo? I thought I read somewhere it was like sending a text message. Still pissed I have to change a grandfathered $55 AC plan for a 1000 min. if I want to get it.

Ok I have a Juke that I have songs on and a 2gb microsd card that I want to get those songs to - I cannot get the songs to the computer through rhapsody from the juke or through windows media player. Of course if I could I would not be asking. Anyone know how to get it done?

Can the Dare be used as a modem as long as you have the VCast pak with free MB?
If it can be used, will someone try and explain how?

I added the VCast $15 a month package when I bought the phone. After using it a little I am wondering if it would be cheaper to pay by the mb ($1.99). What are most people doing? I only plan on using it for checking Yahoo email and occasional browsing. I don't use text messaging or the mobile email feature. Thanks.

so when i looked at my phone today i noticed a calendar icon on the top of my main screen. i had no idea why it was there so i clicked it and it took me right to the calendar. the weird thing is i never set my phone to do that or created any events for it to be reminding me of AND i can't figure out how to get it off of there.

does anyone know, or has anyone seen this before? i can't find a setting in my settings that would turn it off and i haven't changed any of my settings to have turned it on some how. hmm....let me know whatcha think!
