USCELL!!
🤤 This phone is on our rebate forms so unless is failes testing, we should be getting this phone very soon!!!
...
If we USCC gets the BB Pearl flip as well, it will be a tough choice between the two. The Evoke seams to lean more towards an iphone/instict style of phone though.
...
we already have them for alltel.. kinda clunky feeling.

Well I was wondering about whether USCC was getting this phone and everyone seemed to rule it out.
So I replaced my V3m RAZR with a VE20, and I miss ability to copy organizer entries and I would like a virtual QWERTY board with I -Tap to enter text for the organizer. And you cannot keep organizer entries for more than 1 year after they occur.
I have no use for MMS or Browsing.
I am just under 2 weeks into the VE20.
Will the Evoke be out at USCC stores before end of my 30 day trade period?
If so I may give it a try.

I was in an Open Forum with Jay Ellison here in STL a few weeks ago and sombody asked about this phone. He explained to us why it failed; it was 9 months late from Motorola being ready for release and when it was nearly ready for release the testing found it to be clunky (as stated above by an alltel person) and with an interface that wasn't so user friendly.
While I would have loved to see it here, but given Motorola's current track record (See the HINT), I'm happier to have our current line-up.

It was late; but not by 9 months.
The shipping SW is smooth and fluid.
The interface has been reviewed by multiple publications and the feedback has been very positive to the point of the UI almost being too user friendly.
The device is a winner and exceeds boundaries as a touch phone; it's not boring like the Samsung Delve.

Is this phone considered a smartphone that will require the internet plan?
...
it is considered a smart phone by alltel standards and requires a smart plan. think of it like the delve, not quite a smart phone but enough to get that out of you
...
It's Cricket's only 'smart phone'... requires a $15 Unlimited Data feature.
