yes you can change the order of what shows on the main screen, if thats what you're asking.
hilight the item you want move, then hit the blackberry menu key, you will have the "move" option. whichever 8 items you put first will appear in the main two rows of icons on your home screen

Yes, and somehow you can add another row of items to the home screen. Unfortunately I did that and I can't figure out how to get rid of it now - it covers up the picture in the back and seems to have slowed down all processes. Any ideas? I am pretty sure I was on the home screen and hit the blackberry menu key and then hit options. That no longer works to return to just the 2 rows of icons though.

mine did that for a bit after i changed mine. pulling the battery fixed it for me u hit the blackberry key then hit options and u can adjust the number of rows u want from there
