Wow....so disappointed

I think I know the answer to this question already judging by the other posts in this forum, but am I the only person who tried this phone out and was completely disappointed with it? It feels like a Playskool toy. And the whole click touchscreen? Wow, so disappointed with that. I don't know if it was just the one I was trying, but the menu system was slow as hell. It would very literally take several seconds (sometimes up to at least five seconds) to move on.

Thanks, but no thanks RIM. I'll keep using my Curve.

Before commenting you should own the devise run the update use it for more than a few minutes. Oh and maybe read some of the recent reviews which have all been pretty good. Just my 2 cents.

Interesting. So does the software upgrade improve the plasticy feel of the click touchscreen? Does the software upgrade make the device feel like any less of a toy?

My guess is probably not.

It appears your two cents is worth even less.

Read your own first post, The updated software goes a long way that was introduced.

I found a phone that seems to be more your style and..it's from playskool 🤣

Hawkeye, are you a Verizon Rep or Regional Sales Manager with RIM? I appreciate that you wish to keep things upbeat but I also feel you aren't realistic.

I got a Storm the first day they were out and kept it until Saturday. I upgraded to the Leaked software the day it came out.

While the Storm might be acceptable to a light user or some young person more interested in an iPhone type device for the kewl factor, it performs dismally for a business person wanting productivity from their mobile device. Even after the upgrade, the lags were still quite evident and the speed with which the touch screen responded was very inconsistent, resulting in numerous errors and requiring s alot of back tracking. There was all kinds of strange beh...

i guess only playing with the store demo really gives you a good idea of the phone... not. how about owning the phone for a few days, then give a more realistic response. keep your curve but dont make up trase about a phone you dont even own.

In addition to your obvious grammar and spelling shortcomings, do you have a reading comprehension problem? I had the Storm for several weeks and used it extensively.

grammer this grammer that, is that your only argument. we are not in english class buddy, you're not a teacher here. anyways i must have over looked you had the phone. sorry. but you cant give an honest opinion with only a short time using it. my storm has had 0 and i mean 0 problems. so is it wrong for me to say its the best phone when in fact it has been the best phone for me. NO.

I have to ask.....didn't you know about all of this beforehand? What were you expecting? The phone is built solid as a rock! I won't even go any further because it's pretty obvious that you just don't like it and you want to justify your return to your curve. I know the routine in these forums to know when people are crying for help.

It's cool.
