Thanks

WTH-one of the reviews mentioned putting a Splenda wrapper under the battery-kinda lost me on that one. Anyone understand why that would "fix" anything?
Thanks
Some people are complaining that the screen doesn't "click" as well in the lower corners as it does on the rest of the screen.
There are two fixes to the problem that people have found:
1. Remove the battery cover and put a small piece of cardboard (business card thickness )the size of the battery between the cover and the battery and close
2. There are two screws in the battery compartment below the battery (one has a red "-" sticker over it) that can be loosened just a little.
Just a way to improve screen performance a litt...

The guy that found the screw fix said he used to fix his console gamepads the same way. Too many manufacturers tighten screws up too far from the factory.

im just afraid of the long term affects the card could do. that added pressure cant be good. i guess only time will tell.
The card method I would be worried about the long term effects on. backing off the two screws a 1/2 turn or so should be fine. It accomplishes the same thing

HawkeyeOC, is the loosen of the 2 screws a 1/2 turn?
I would try loosening it in 1/4 or 1/2 increments and test the screen out as you turn it each time. If you turn them too much the screen becomes way too easy to click.
its a worker error and its all verizon would probably do if you took it in. or they might give you a new one. but if that worker made the screws to tight then you would have to loosen them.
The original guy that figured out this fix said that he used to have to loosen screws on gaming consoles the same way.
We shouldn't have to do this, but I am not willing to go through the aggravation of getting replacement phones when I can just do this.
There are people out there going through 2,3 or more phones to get one they are happy with clicking

Great, the so called leading edge technology device fixed with baling wire and twine. What next? If VZW and RIM had any integrity whatsoever, they'd recall this piece of junk and fix it before releasing it onto the unsuspecting general public.
Why recall what you can fix with Splenda? At the most VZW is guilty for being cheap with the phone and not including this as an accessory 🤣
Curse you Verizon! I want my Splenda! 😡
