BlackBerry Storm 9530
Is the Storm the “best of both worlds†or “a compromise†between tradition B
I believe the iPhone is more of a toy rather than a business phone b/c it is not built as a work phone. I don’t think it is trying to be either. Apple knows that they have their own market. PlayBoyPeguin brought up some interesting points in some dialogue that we had about the iPhone having superior HTML email viewing and web browsing. I thought that the features were slightly better but not what I would call superior. My web browsing is faster on my Storm but I have a better web browsing experience on the iPhone. I am not in agony but I feel more comfortable on the iPhone. So far as HTML emails I have no problem bringing the up on my Storm. On the other h...

The Iphone is a great phone depending where you live. Being serious, the network really does matter.
You take away wifi on the Iphone and the discussion is dead. Wifi makes the Iphone because AT&T 3G is very sporadic! Before I go on, the first generaton Iphone( in my opinion works better, looks better and faster while tabbing along). Edge on the first phone was simply put....like watching water boil.
Second generaton Iphone looks like a toy made of cheap plastic. It just doesn't measure up to the first one. Iphone 3G when you have signel is fast enough. I think wifi again, makes the phone.
The Storm. It certainly has some issues! But even with the bugs,...

That being said, I do love Verizon. They are god in my area. I am not one of those that wants to or can switch carriers just for the newest phone offering. My decision to switch would be based on carrier service issues and VZW has given me little reason to leave.
The phones:
I can pick up an iphone as well as any Apple product and almost instantly figure out how it works. They are intuitive they seem to know what you need them to do. They were designed with average users in mind that don't have engineering degrees. What a home run for Apple. Their computers would h...

First off, the iPhone is not a toy. It is widely recognized as the most advanced handheld device on the market. Calling it a "toy" gives away bias and demonstrates a true lack of understanding of the subject. Just because it was not designed to create or alter word documents does not make it less amazing than it is.
That being said, we can get back on topic.
Before I discuss the phones I will discuss the network. I was in the military for quite some time and I can tell you that when you travel the country the systems are pretty much the same. Both systems have strong and weak areas. I will note that AT&T's coverage map seems more accurate than...

When I said that the phone is a toy, I should have noted that its strictly my take. I say this b/c the iPhone to me as my iPod and my phone in one w/ internet. Other than that I could not use it for business. It would hamper my productivity when I’m out of the office and would cost me more money to get the same functionality as if I had a BB or a phone like a Tilt or Mogul. What might be important to you or someone else is most likely different for me. I.e., I probably will never store any music on the phone b/c I strictly use it for work. I keep some funny videos or clips but nothing like a movie, so the benefits of the iPhone don’t jump out @ me whereas someone else might be craving having that aspect...

Anyone that owns both can easily see that the browser on the Storm is second rate compared to the iPhone and the media playback is not as smooth or easy (especially online video). It is also harder to utilize online content on the Storm. The iPhone has mastered user friendliness.
very well put playboy
