BlackBerry Storm 9530
Storm with .99 and Iphone 3G
If you do a lot of texting/web-browsing, do not get the Storm. I used it for 3 weeks and it's absolutely awful at both. The browser pales in comparison to the web access on the iPhone and the Sure-Type keyboard is better than the Qwerty on the device.
I actually find the iPhone easier to text on than the Storm. I need a BB for work, so I now use the Bold instead.
If you can only choose one device, and send less than 50 texts/e-mails a day, go for the iPhone.
texting is great, and with a lil practice, and editing the auto correct words, texting is very nice.
as far as browsing, i think everyone agrees the iphone has the best browser, but the storm is now bad by any means.
what i like about the storm browser is:
double tap to zoom, then i can touch and highlight what i want to click, without accidentally selecting something wrong, and then click the screen to select.
and the absolutely best thing that the storm has over the iphone, and a lot of people forget this: MULTITASKING. 🙂

Someone please explain to me with no sarcasim what the Iphone does better then the Storm. Please be grown up about this question. Feature for feature, being honest, which does more.
iphone=better all around multimedia phone
Storm=better all around business oriented phone
They both can do (except for minor issues) basically everything, but if you look at both company's backgrounds and their approaches to making the devices it becomes clear that neither phone is the best at everything.
Both are good devices 😁
The Storm is for people who wanted an iPhone, but are stuck with Verizon, and need it for business use too.
The iPhone is for people who arent tied to a contract, and have good AT&T coverage where they live and dont need Exchange(Outlook) capabilites for their email.
If the iPhone was on Verizon, and had real support for Exchange email, it would be the Jesus phone for real. But since it doesnt.
The Storm totally fills those shoes.
And does a pretty good job and email and internet and multimedia tasks.
Blackberrys and WinMo phones blow the iphone out of the water on this point
They list it right on the box.
But how it works stinks.
Steve Jobs waves his hand in your face in a
Jedi like fashion and says, "You do not need copy and paste"
The Storm proclaims proudly as it pounds its chest in an 800lb gorilla like fashion.
I have copy and paste, but then proceeds to eat your bannanas.
