BlackBerry Storm 9530
Hey Verizon! Going to have to go to .99 because this phone is painstakingly useless with .75.
First off, I have the phone with 7 3rd party apps, 198 songs, 2 movies, and recieve about 60 emails per day.
Now, that-that is out of the way; I am a faithful .75 user. I didn't want to go to .99 because I was afraid of the potential bugs or viruses that may be in the .99.
I am trying to hang on but Verizon is not making it easier by being hush-hush about upgrading the phone. Wwwwwhhhhhhhyyyyyy!
Verizon, if I don't hear news of an official update soon I will be forced to update. HawkeyeOC and the gang have jumped into the update pool and have let me know that the waters fine, come on in.

yeah .99 pretty stable only had one thing that was odd but other then that runs way faster then .75 just know what you are doing before you jump in the DEEP side.

now i dont remember where i read it, and i could have read a bunch of bs, but somewhereit said that i think march 15 is the projected new os version date.
again, it could be bs, but i saw it somewhere
my best advice is backup ur storm using the desktop manager, and try .99. if you dont like it, just go back to .75.
(it should auto backup everything when you flash to the new os, but i do it just to be safe)

I think Boy Genius wrote something about a release date, but the guys at Crackberry are calling it BS because it's so far out in the future

I just update my phone and wow.
- phone is more responsive
- no reboots yet
- phone is more responsive
- love the full vertical keyboard (watch out iphone)
- rotation is pretty good
All this thing needs now is more apps to download.
