Guys,

I'm torn between the two, so i'm soliciting some help. Any help is appreciated. If you pick one or the other give a reason if possible, I don't want to get screwed by verizon and not be able to switch it out. Thank you.

PS. New Every Two has me at $99.99 for the storm and Free Omnia. Price usually is not an option for me, I'll pay more for quality.

I was faced with the same dilemma at the time. I went with the Storm and haven't looked back. The Storm has its flaws like most devices but now I am a full fledged crackberry addict. It basically does it all for me. Web, e-mail, instant messaging, and apps. Mind you there are plenty of apps available already and the app store hasn't officially opened yet! I don't doubt the Omnia does just about the same stuff as the Storm and maybe some better but again I have a Storm and I am happy. Again, it has its bugs and you will need to update the software Verizon ships it out with but the positives outweigh the negatives by a lot. I guess my short answer would of been I picked Blackberry over Samsung based on the brand and I am glad I did. T...

Both good phones, The Storm is my first Blackberry and I am hooked!

reasons for me:
-number one is instant push e-mail. RIM got this right years ago and its flawless. I believe Omnia needs exchange to do this or you have to check manually.
-I like the feedback on the clickable screen
-I hate Windows mobile which is a personal preference thing. The Omnia does have a good interface over the top of Windows Mobile though

Just an added thought. Hold the Storm in one hand with the silicon skin on it and the Omnia in the other hand. Compare the two screens and, in addition, make note of the plastic feel of the Omnia. Your decision should be an easy one. As Hawkeye said, the email client on the Blackberry should make your choice on non-brainer. 👀
