Muffled talking

I am on my second Storm and am having a small problem. I am told that I sound as if I set my phone down and walk away from it while I am talking.

It is not my pinky finger coviering the mic.

I have talked in circles with Verizon about this problem and their solution of going through 'trouble shooting' techniques is totally useless, and does nothing to fix the problem. They keep informing me that it is a 3rd party application causing this. I had no problems for close to 3 months and then it just started to happen.

THis is one of the most frustrating things and to deal with Verizon in regards to this issue is a joke. How many times do I have to do a master reset and take out my battery, because that is their only option for trouble...

The_Raff started a thread below about it.

I found that people were talking over me while on my jawbone and storm with them.
I thought they were being rude, but it was my phone. Turns out there is an option in the blueooth Properties, under Device Properties,
for my jawbone called Echo Control, when I turned it off, people heard me again. I think between the noise cancellation on my jawbone, and the echo control enabled on the bluetooth of the phone, I had to yell before anyone heard me.
Echo Control off and now im ok.

I have the latests OS installed .109
its a Verizon Storm 9530, and paired with a
first Gen, Verizon brand black Jawbone
bluetooth headset
