Does anybody know when? Next week? Next month, Next Year, Never??? What is taking so long???
Thank You...
Rumors say it will be "soon" although the actual word "soon" has been used to answer this question since December of last year.
Reality is, we will probably get little warning about when or even what OS version will be released. Other carriers are releasing newer versions so thats a good sign.
Subscribers will be inclined to wait for their contract upgrade, pay more money for the Wifi Storm 2, and in effect, make the original Storm a by-product of glitches, non-patched operating systems (.75), and make it the forerunner for "bigger and better things."
I have come to a conclusion that it is not in Verizon's best interest to support this phone. An effort to improve this version will diminish appeal for the followup (WiFi). Is there any other conclusion this time lapse can logically explain? The silence for Verizon suppo...

My philosophy has been formulated by exposure to Verizon sales "experts" telling me OS .75 does not hurt and have a temperature π
Will I run wild in a Verizon store? Can see it happening one way......On the day of the big announcement, and it will be big (people jumping off roof's because they trashed the phone the day before)....My phone dies 2 minutes before the announcement. 10 Seconds later...right in to the wall!!!! π

A million laughs on here tonight π€£
if your not happy, go to .113. you will most likely be happy with that one
I use to be a "OMG I wouldn't dare do such a thing" person, and I got sick and tired of waiting for Verizon to pull it's head from it's ass and release a new OS.
You have other choices, use them!! The Storm can do a lot, just not with .75.
1. Does Blackberry Rim in Motion Company know about these non-supported downloads?
2. Who actually leaks them?
3. Are these leakers techies who work for RIM?
4. Is Verizon aware of these non-supported downloads?
5. Do they give a damn?
6. How do you know it won't screw up my current .75 operating system?
7. Does these bootleg downloads carry viruses with them?
8. If I download a bootleg download, will it void my Verizon warranty?
Thank you and please reply. Much appreciated.
1)yes
2)Rim themselves.. unless you download a hybrid os
3)someone from inside rim leaks them out
4)yes, actually some of the people on this forum works for verizon and they have leaked os's running
5)im sure they do..
6)after reading reviews it seems like a low chance of it getting bricked
7)check out crackberry.com for links of os downloads..read what others have to say about the os before you download it, usually they will say its working great or they dont like it..
πyes, but you can always downgrade back to .75 and verizon will never know what happened..
hopefully i'll have time to upgrade eith...
