I just received this phone and so far I am liking it, however this morning I woke up and it had a message on the desktop that says no event... how do I get rid of that....also...is there a quick way to put this in vibrate mode instead of going through settings... thanks.

Happened to me once. It is a widget, just pull it back onto the widget bar. That should do it. On the other, press "dial", then press the # sign.

Yes. Go to zedge.net and put in the info for your phone, and it will bring up games, ringtones, wallpapers, and some videos that will work on it. Also, there is now a forum called samsung-solstice.com that will give you a lot of hints and tricks and such.

Starduster did a good job of answering your first question, I will answer the second. The quickest way to put the phone into vibrate mode from normal is to pull up the 10 key pad on the screen and then push and hold the # sign until you feel the phone buzz at you or it says on the screen Silent profile on.. To put it back into normal mode, you do the same thing until it says Normal profile on.
