Cliq Battery Life
Although I like the Cliq's features, it has some quirks that concern me, most notably the battery life.
Even after shutting off some applications and self-updating feeds, it seems to last only about 8 hours with very little use. I installed the battery/screen update but after a day it hasn't seemed to make any significant difference. I think any phone should give 24 hours minimum between charges or it just isn't useful.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to get a bit better battery life I would surely like to hear them.

The moto cliq does have a less than perfect battery life, but it doesnt have the worst like you stated. It's the phone not your battery. The cliq has about a 16-24 hr window of battery with texting and moderate browsing. I purchased the phone and for the first 2 weeks of having it i regretted buying it, only due to the battery life. After switching out the battery at T-mobile to see if that was the problem, I finally spoke with someone who advised me that if the battery life is less than at least 12 hours than it's the phone, not the battery or charger. Apparently the moto cliq was a phone that alot of "lemons" produced. I was told about 1 out of every 5 of them is pure crap and wont work properly. I would see if there's anyway for you to ex...

The cliq, is a smartphone, and what that says is that it does mutiple things at the same time. The battery, well unfortunately battery technology has not kept up with well technology. haha. the moto cliq is a great phone and the battery life is not abnormal for a phone, it does have better battery life than the iphone, and does more too. Try shutting off the gps, which is always trying to find your location, which uses up alot of battery. Then make sure that your WIFI is shut off, why have it running if your not using it. And finally turn your brightness down, it is sad, but once your battery hits 50%, I suggest turning that brightness down. Hope this helps..
