HTC Droid Eris
Downloading pictures from PC onto Eris?
Connect the USB cable that came with the Eris to the phone and the other end to your PC. Windows should recognize the Eris (maybe not by name though Win 7 does for me, should show as USB device).
On your Eris pull down the Notification (swipe down with finger from top of screen) and tap on the USB notifiaction.
ON YOUR COMPUTER you will now see the Eris as a drive letter in the File Manager. You can now access the SD card in the Eris liike it's a USB flash/external drive. Create your folders, transfer files (music, pics, docs)from your computer. When done swipe the Notifications down again to unmount the phone. disconnect the cable and the phone apps will now see whatever you transfered over.
