V810 & VZW "Get It Now"
kc911Feb 6, 2004, 3:16 PM
Does anyone know if the V810 will have the "Get It Now" feature on the VZW network?
...
How could it not be compatible? Verizon hasn't ever had a non-Get it now phone with a color screen. It would be pointless. Only sprint tried to pull that crap with the Nokia 5188 and its a worthless piece of trash compared to what else is on the market. I don't think verizon is going to make any non get it now phones from here on out. Think about it. Get it now is where the revenue is, ringers are much higher profit than anything else they can offer. Verizon wants their salesmen to push the hell out of data. They won't bother releasing any non data phones. Especially not a high end phone like the V810. How could a 2G phone send picture mail anyway? Sorry, got a little carried away there. What can I say. I'm a passionate man.

it says that it is brew compatible which means that it has Get It Now from Verizon Wireless...I believe it would definitely be a phone that has access to the 3G network called National access.

What about the Audiovox CDM8900, it it not on the National Access w/ VZW. What type of problems would you run into by not having this feature on your cell phone w/ VZW? Thanks

I just wondered about the national access, on vzw wb site it does not say anything about the cdm8900 having national access nor does the new a610. But all of the other phones on the site have national access. I want a tri-mode camera phone, is this the one or should I wait for the v810?
