Touch Screen Resposiveness

I too have been waiting for the new Droid Bionic to launch for months and it's finally here. I go into the Verizon store to check it out and the touch screen still has the same issues as the Droid, Droid X, and Droid X2. That is the responsiveness. Very disappointing touch screen! There is a little test that anyone can do to test the responsiveness of the Bionic screen for smooth fluidity. On the Droid Bionic just go to any screen that allows you to scroll up and down and take one finger on your hand and slide it back and forth quickly up and down the scrolling screen in a repetitive motion about 10 times quickly. You will see that the screen will slightly freeze and get stuck at times when this is done. If you do this same test on an identi...

I'm glad you to see the flaws in this phone as they had plenty of time to make it a perfect phone. Why don't they test and fix problems before releasing when they had much time with this phone. Mine goes back today and I will use my Revolution until I see improvements.

Yes it's kinda of interesting you said that. I think my final decision will be an LG Revolution too, until a better LTE Droid phone comes out.

Go ahead and get the Binged out Google phone. The revolution is just as bad as the Fascinate was. Enjoy that. 🙄

No scrolling issues here with my new Bionic - even performed your little test. It just makes me laugh when someone goes to the store, does their evaluation on a phone that possibly hundreds of people could have had their hands on. When the phone hiccups once they automatically assume it's a p.o.s.

I am sorry to disagree with you, but the Bionic's screen is both fast and smooth. I have tried your "test" of scrolling the screen and mine never slows down or locks up...I'm not really sure what that proves anyway in everyday usage. It's hard to determine how a phone will react in the real world by using a demo phone at the store. I have NUMEROUS reviews and nobody has complained about that, in fact, they rave about how fast/smooth it is.

Yes there is problems with the fluidity of the Bionic touch screen, but not just Bionic, but all the Motorola Droid series and it has be documented if you go on the web review of the phones. It still works, however the crispness of movement is not see...
