Palm Treo 600 (CDMA)

I am looking into getting a Treo 600 and I am curious about the battery life. I ahev never I had PDA before but I feel that it will be very useful. Is this something you have to charge every night or is it like any other cell phone where you can go a couple of days before charging it? Also if I do charge it every night will it hurt the life time battery life? Thanks for your help.
