"No Service" PLEASE HELP
when i try to make calls 90% of the time a little note appears in the upper left hand corner that says "No Serive" despite the fact that I may have anywhere between 2-4 bars of service. I don't get the note if it is plugged in. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

I and a friend had the same problem. We are on the Sprint network, but the issue is identical. We called Sprint and they updated the PRL Rev number. PRL (Preferred Roaming List) This tells the phone which towers to look for. My number was 10024, the current number is 10033. Verizon might be different, I don't know. When you are in phone mode hit the menu key at the bottom of the keypad then go to options then phone info. It is towards the bottom of the screen on my phone and will look like this: PRL Rev 10024 (or whatever number you may have. Hope this helps.

Addendum to my review. Later that same day I updated the PRL Rev number all fell apart. The update fix was short lived. The phone continues to have "no service" issues. I find it suspicious that three people on the CDMA network with a Treo 600 are experiencing the same problem at the same time. Is there some incompatibility issue with the network after an upgrade or update to it by the carriers? I wonder.

Addendum #2. After much research in several forums the fix for the no service problem stems from a loose batter connection. Easy enough to fix if you have the tools and are not afraid to crack open your phone. I did this yesterday and now the phone behaves like it use to. This solved the no service problem perfectly. Other than this problem, my phone has worked flawlessly.
