Palm Treo 600 (CDMA)
they wanted full list price...
Does that sound right?
As far as the qwerty keyboard goes, on the new treo the keys fully light up, instead of just the letter. That's all for now.
Any more details you or your account manager may have or can get will be much appreciated.
I am looking forward to this new Treo... any word on when it will be released and if Verizon will be one of the carrier's?

Sprint is calling the Treo Ace, the Treo 650. Verizon won't see it until 2005.
Camera and non-camera versions will be released, similar to the Treo 600. Expected Price: $549.99 Expected Launch: October, 2004
I want to pack in my 5 yr old Visor and 4 yr old LG phone. Now, I have to wait another year.
We only have good coverage with ATT and Verizon, with Verizon the better of the two. I tried a friend's Treo 600 and the Treo Ace is much better based on the posted specs.
The Sprint pricing for the Treo 650 appears to be $550. Probably for either version. "Why no discount on non-camera smarthones?", probably because they sell less of those and only do it as a business courtesy. Many workplaces do not allow cameras.
Overall, it appears to be a great phone, but the price without PDA is a bit steep.
I'd rather wait for the Treo 650, so I can get rid of my LG510 and Handspring Deluxe at the same time.
Thanks tho for the tip about the Samsung. Maybe I'm too anxious with my taped up LG 510 on it's last leg.
