Has anyone experienced this?
someone claimed he called me where i had bad or no reception and it didnt show up on my phone as a missed call or anything nor did it go straight to voicemail it rang and didnt let me know that i had a missed call.

Might be time for a call to your service provider? I ran into this when I hit some dead spots traveling over the last two weekends, but my callers eventually ended up in my voice-mail.
