Anyone know when you can start accessing yahoo e-mail via Verizon's wireless web? Or is there a way to do it already? I found this web site in a forum - is there a way to install it on the phone? http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/

Yes, you can. I did it last night. You simply start up mobile web and then go to search then click on go to URL then type in Yahoo.com and it will bring you to Yahoo then click on mail then it asks for a password.

You can do that and get mobile web for free by substituting yahoo's wap page as you home page. To do that, you'll have to access system's hidden menu. The details can be found on HowardForum for this phone.
There are also instruction's on removing Verizon's logo. Both of these work.
Now, if only somebody figured out how to get ringtones onto this phone and picture off it for free!

That' it. Read the following thread to get the details. They recommend the google site, but yahoo works even better, given that you configure it for wap access. Here is the link to the discussion thread.

If it doesn't work, go to www.howardforums.com -> VerizonWireless -> CDM9900 Tip#5: The REAL HIDDEN MENU is found!

Cool thanks. Should I cancel my mobile with Verizon before or after I do this procedure or does it not matter?

I never subscribed to mobile web... and this approach works anyway. Let's see how long it will keep working before they plug this hole. After all, giving this phone away at $49.99 is for doing just this sort of beta-testing. I hope somebody will enhance Gagin or one of the other data-transfer programs to transfer pictures and ringtones before my 15 day trial period is over. Otherwise, I am swapping it for LG-6100. Gorgeous screen is not of much use if you have to pay 25c for every picture to print it out.

You can transfer pics with the 6100 without paying the 25 cents? How?

I may be wrong, but I believe I've read somewhere that you can use its USB cable to transfer data in and out. Just like you can with moto710.
