currently i have a lg 7000 and i was comparing to this audiovox. Which phone do you think is better. I looked at the audiovox in the store and it doesn't seem as durable as the lg. Is this true? Is this the 1st audiovox that uses toshiba parts etc? How functional is the audiovox? I was told by the saleperson that the previous model of the audiovox was recalled twice which is making me a lil apprehensive about getting this model phone. Any info would help. thanks

Don't know how it'll hold up, but it feels very solid to me.

Hi,

If you search through the Verizon Audiovox 8910 forum, you'll find who made which model. I think that the 9xxx series is made by Toshiba and the 8xxx is made by another company. I've had my 9900 for a week and it feels good. You could check User Reviews and see what people have to say about both.

The Verizon stores in San Diego had functioning 9900 units that you could try.

No problems here with the 9900. It feels VERY solid and durable. Easy to navigate too, compared to the LG's.
