I bought a Verizon leather/plastic case which leaves the lens open. Any suggestions?

However, I am wondering how to protect the lens.
Solution...... warp your entire body in plastic warp this way you can enjoy your new phone without having to worry about damaging your lens. This way, you will not only protect your entire phone, but also your body from all the evil elements. I guarantee if you follow this procedure you will have a lifetime of happiness with your 9900 which will probably outlive you anyway. 😁

So far my picture and video quality is fine. Since it's exposed more I do expect to have to change the one on the lens more frequently.

Are you referring to a clear part of the leather case or a clear covering on the body of the phone?
With the Verizon case that I bought, the camera lens and flash are NOT covered by the clear plastic.

An idea: buy one of the "not-so-OEM-looking" covers on ebay for a song, and then you wont have to worry about a screen protector mod for the phone (although I'm looking into that myself, but more for the inside screen.
