i do not understand how to hack the phone to get rid of the banners, fauguys post is said to have worked, but i do not understand it...when do i puch the buttons, when i do the numbers 289 and # come up as they are going to be dialed into a call...what am i doing wrong????????????

You will need to perform the hack steps within @10 seconds of powering the phone on. Go back to the post, turn your phone off, then back on and have at it.....GOOD LUCK
