you can get them on ebay, or google for "audiovox 9900 faceplate". ebay they are about $3.99. they say easy instal with a phillips head screw driver. i got one and it came with no instructions. looking at the phone, it looks like you can stick a phillips head at the top of the faceplate by the hinge. i tried that with a little phillips head on my Leatherman, but it started to put toolmarks in the body of the phone and i was to afrade i was going to end up breaking or cracking part of the OEM faceplate and not get it completely off. it doesnt come off easilly as they said it would and if i used a real phillips head im sure i would f*** up my phone. i have no idea what to do now. but it did come with a matching battery cover that i put on, so ...

When you have a store put on the faceplate for you, does the manufacturer's warranty automatically go away? At every store?

😲 that seems like a lot more work than the "easialy installed with a phillips head screwdriver" advertisement the website i bought my faceplate told me it would be. i cant believe that guy had the guts to tear into his phone like that! i think ill just stick with the yellow battery cover i got with my faceplate and leave the original plate on for now. already scratched the hell out of my phone with a phillips head trying to get the original plate off. 😕

Hmm...I was thinking of getting a faceplate for this just to save the original plates so that they would always be in good condition. But if it's going to scratch the cell up...then never mind.
