Mine flashed because of a missed call today. Noticed one in a store that was flashing. It had a voice mail indication on the screen.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it was a missed call or vmail, too, so I went through and checked (and even deleted) all missed/msgs/etc. and it continued to flash red! Frankly, it was getting a bit annoying!!! My husband said later that he had been getting delayed voice mails for a day or two, so maybe it was a network issue?
