Warrenties on Cell Phones and VZW

There has been alot of talk about Verizons crappy policies on warr replacements and exchanges on this and every message board.

I would just like to remind everyone that Verizon wireless does not Warrenty any phones. Manufactures Warrenty phones, hence why they call it a Manufactuers warrenty.

Warrenty Policies are set by the Manufactuer. They all have simular clauses to there warrenty, about physical damadge done to the phone and the like. They all also set different usage limits as to when a deffective phone should be replaced with a brand new, non refurbished unit.

These are not Verizons rules.

Also I would like all of you to try and warrenty replace a piece of electonics you buy at Best Buy, or any other store. They are go...

I get so sick and tired of people complaining about the policies at Verizon Wireless. From what I know, Verizon is the only company that will replace your phone at the store. The whole physical damage issue is what upsets me. I have people that think because THEY broke their phone, somehow it is MY fault and I owe them a brand new phone....for free! What a bunch of BS!
