I just posted this on the 6100 forum so I thought I would cut and paste it over here as well. I just checked the 9900 reviews and see I'm no longer the only one posting a less than positive review of it. These aren't apples to apples phones. They both have different strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully this will help anyone looking find what suits their needs best.

these are just my opinions, anyone is welcome to disagree. my wife and i got aud 9900's two weeks ago. after about a week i couldn't stand the single holed earpiece and how lining it up on my ear made a huge difference in earpiece volume. it appears others don't have the same issue, so i guess i'm oversensitive to it. the...

If the reception with the non retractable antenna on the 6100 is anything like that of the the VX6000 then I will take the extendable antenna of the 9900 for better reception in fringe and questionable areas.

I agree on the on the outside screen but it is not a big factor.

In performance, holding calls, and reception my 9900 outperformed my VX 6000 hands down.If these are what a phone is supposed to do according to your review then you may not be correct. Time will tell.

If the VX 6100 had an extendable antenna I might have gotten that instead.

Maybe it's just the actual air the extendable antenna is cutting thru, or I dunno...whatever it maybe...but I think having an extendable antenna is just better overall.

I had a chance to look at the 6100 today at the VZW store and did some side-by-side comparisons of menus and other options. The 6100's menus and overall option venu looks a lot like the 6000. The phone itself is bigger than what I expected. The lens cover looks flimsy...but that could be becau...
