How is the speakerphone on the 9900. Can anyone compare it to any other speakerphone phones?-like the v710.
How is the battery life of the standard one.
And last until I think of more, hows the phone reception. Has anyone had noticeable difference from their last phone. I know with the v710 I have now I actually get service under the tunnels on the subway in NYC..and I never had service that good before. Thanks 😁

You get service in tunnels and on the subway in NYC because That's where Verizon has placed antennas for the convenience of travelers. Any brand or model of Verizon Wireless phone will get the same excellent reception in those tunnels.

The 9900's speakerphone is OK, not hi-fi, but serviceable. I'd be happier with longer battery life, but that's the tradeoff for having the giant, beautiful, power-consuming color display.

There is no cell phone service of any kind in the subway tunnels in NYC. There are some stations close to ground level and some lines that run above ground where you will be able to use your phone but again, no service under ground.

There is however Verizonwireless service on the lower Long Island Railroad section of Penn Station as well as on the trains when they are running through the tunnels under the East River.

There is also Verizonwireless service in the major vehicle tunnels serving NYC. I'm not sure about other carriers.

As far as the 9900 is concerned, the speakerphone is pretty good. I can use it in my car. It is a true speakerphone with a separate speaker unlike other Audiovox models which use the earpiece with the volu...

Ok sounds good. Yeah the only problem with the v710 is the battery is gone in one day of use. No there is not any antennas/cells in the subways, although I do get service in some even not that close the the street, ex:96 St station, 34 st station-subway. I really use the speakerphone a lot, and Im seriously thinking about just picking up a 9900 at retail. whats retail anyway $220.? I can still return it if I dont like it right. Im sure I can make a decent profit on the 710 anyway. Thanx all 😎
